The latest amusing find from Baseball-Reference.com (again while working on a totally unrelated post):
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder and 2004 National League Rookie of the Year Jason Bay's full given name is Jason Raymond Bay. So what, you ask? So, if only his parents had had a slightly offbeat sense of humor and the willingness to ruin their young son's life, we could be referring to this young man as Jay Ray Bay.
Come on, I can't be the only one who finds that funny. I bet Berman will be jealous that he didn't think of it first (although Jason "(Sittin' on) the Dock of the" Bay is awfully witty not).
