The Garden State has decided that they want to get in on the media bonanza.
Apparently a member of the state assembly has decided to take the brave stand of being against dog fighting. And taking the opportunity to get his name in the press by associating himself with Michael Vick.
But a New Jersey lawmaker told the Daily News he hopes to make Vick's headaches even bigger. Assemblyman Neil Cohen is outraged that Vick and three co-defendants - according to the federal indictment - ventured into New Jersey to participate in dogfighting and purchase pit bulls in the Garden State for dogfighting purposes back in Vick's home state of Virginia.
We can anticipate "lawmakers" coming out of the wood work for the chance at gaining exposure.
It has only just begun.
