Daniel Carter and the New Zealand All Blacks have won the Tri Nations Cup. Carter kicked 7 (count 'em) three pointers against an Australian team that played hard but couldn't match the pace of the mighty Kiwis.
The best thing about this result though, is that the whiny supremacist bitches... sorry, 'South Africa' came last in the tournament with one solitary win. Prior to the start, the Springboks (SA) had claimed that they were the only team that could stop New Zealand from winning the Rugby World Cup in September. Hows that working out for you, you arrogant fucks? ha? HA?!
Ahem. *puts back unbiased journalism cap*
What does this tell us about the World Cup? Well, nothing that we didn't already know; The All-Blacks are awesome, South Africa are not as good as they think they are (ever) and Australia should never be counted out.
The only real result to be gleamed form this is that the Southern Hemisphere teams may have turned the tide on the Northern Hemisphere. Which sucks for me, 'cause I've already laid a crap load down on Ireland to win the whole schaboodle.
Ragnamit.

Err... huh?
ABs awesome? Don't know how many of the Tri-nations games you watched, but I watched 'em all. Other than today, the Kiwis looked average, playing 15 minutes of good rugby at the end of the games.
And Southern Hemisphere turned the tables? Dude... as a whole, SH has been on top for years. One blip on the record was the last WC, but ever since then, England has been dismal.
Ireland could do it... France are good too. I'd say you haven't blown your money yet!
I think calling the World Cup a 'blip on the record' is somewhat of an underestimation.
Yeah SH teams have always been dominant but four years ago the NH had beatenn them back a fair bit IMO. That's all I meant.
And yeah I watched all the games, the thing is, the All Blacks average play is far superior to anyone elses best play.
