Something Tim Donaghy Couldn't Gamble On (I Think)

Everyone knows about the Tim Donaghy situation. Guy was probably shaving points in games he was officiating so that he could win bets and now the FBI is so far up his ass you don't know where Tim begins and the FBI ends. Well, it's my humble opinion that the NBA set themselves up to have this happen to them. Just looking at him and you get that "shaaaaaaaaaady" feeling go down your back. Shame on them for letting this happen to themselves. So what should they have done with Tim before he was hired to officiate the NBA?

They should've sent his ass to the WNBA.

Think about it, not alot of folks are putting big time bucks on the over/under of the Shock and Sparks. No one is rushing to their bookies for the spread between the Storm and the Liberty. I'm not going to have my thumbs broken for not paying off the mafia for my $5000 bet on the Mystics upsetting the Miracle. These are things that just don't happen in the WNBA. And if they did, I'm sure no one would really care. Donaghy would've had a tough time finding any action if he was officiating the league's ugly... very ugly younger sister.

It's like that old saying goes:

If a WNBA player falls on her face and no one is in the arena or watching on TV, does she make a sound?

Most likely not, but it would be orgasmic to find it on Youtube and watch it over and over again.
