(Quick Reminder: Anyone interested in being part of the weekend edition of "Throwing Knives" which will be a Link Dump for the most part, just e-mail me here.)
It's Friday, which means I'm checking in a little earlier than on those other weekdays. As Thursday night is usually my only off night of the week. A couple of decent sports stories yesterday. Punctuated by a whole lot of offense across the diamonds. Can't help wondering how Tom Glavine's feeling about last night gem, eh? It's alright Tom, if you can last 5, the offense will get you to 300. Today's fine female is Carolina Ardohain, she's a highly attractive model from another country. I'm a fan of exotic women, and she certainly fits that bill.
Top Story: Daunte Culpepper meets with Bucs
What is it with Gruden and Quarterbacks? Is it because they like to play "catch"? The 17 QB's they already have are overrated, I don't think they need another one. Not to mention, Daunte doesn't have the flowing locks Gruden seems to covet in his QB's. Though, his current mobility situation could make Jeff Garcia look even better in camp. I just don't get it, what in the hell do you need 18 QB's for? Is the play book really so difficult it takes them all to learn it? Honestly, who knows. I sure as hell don't. The sheer prospect of Tampa signing another QB makes me want to keep Matt Millen in town. At least he's stocking up at a position you need a lot of guys. Whether they have talent or not, they'll get on the field.
Getting back to Culpepper though. What the F--- do people see in that guy? He's a toss-it-in-the-general-direction-of-the-same-color kinda QB. Without Randy Moss he'd have never had as much success as he did Minnesota. Moss made Culpepper into the superstar he "was" by promising to "go get it" every time the ball sailed on Daunte. Which if you watch those games was approximately 97.8% of the time. I can hit more 5'9" guys with 7.9, 40's, than Daunte can 6'4" guys 4.2, 40's. Someone is going to overpay for this guy and a year from now when their cutting him. They'll wish they had read this.
Oh, Yeah Bonds Homered. Twice
I was completely unaware of Bonds on field antics as I posted yesterday's column. Finding out he'd went yard, not once, but twice, just after clicking "publish post". It seems he, much like those damn Cubs managed to seep into back-to-back columns. He was finally over himself post game. Leaving the whining and ranting in his locker and talking baseball for once. Mostly, about why he'd been slumping. He's STILL blaming it on the ball switch. I think he just gets a kink in his neck from carrying that dome. And when he's staring down a ball horizontally it's just not the same. He can't get around his head fast enough to hit anything in the air.
The Bobcats Officially Sign Gerald Wallace
I'm just wondering where they're playing all these SG/SF guys they've got. I'd have to guess Jason Richardson will be starting alongside the $57 million dollar Wallace. But what about the stache? Wasn't he supposed to be the face of the franchise? Isn't that why the brilliant Bernie Bickerstaff took him #3 overall? Oh, yeah. Bickerstaff's a fucking idiot. I forgot. My bad.

That's great C.C., unfortunately you still looked bad getting there. If you don't find a way to pull your head out of the massive ass of your. The Tribe might as well mail it in.
