UCLA WR Coach Makes In-Home Visit, Gets Arrested for Burglary

by , Loser with Socks

Normally, news like this doesn't hit the L.A. papers till USC-UCLA week, but brand new Bruin receivers coach Eric Scott was arrested on burglary charges yesterday. He and two other perps were- get this- caught in the act by police in the southeastern Los Angeles community of Norwalk.

While it isn't known if Scott's alibi will be something along the lines of "I was making a recruiting visit," across Los Angeles, Trojan fans everywhere are making no attempt whatsoever to stifle their laughter and are already printing up t-shirts making fun of the sitch to sell at this year's game at the Coliseum.

According to the LAT, "Scott, 32, was set to start his first season as wide receivers coach and has already had a large hand in helping Bruin recruiting in the South Los Angeles area," which is seemingly shorthand for "I was busy casing people's houses, yo."
