Congratulations, A-Rod!

So, A-Rod finally got his 500th. And at Yankee Stadium too.

Sitting at home, I got to watch A-Rod hit a ball waaay back towards the left foul pole, stay true... and the wait was over. Took him 10 days, but finally Alex Rodriguez hit his 500th home run, in a game where the Yanks beat the Royals 16-8. The pitcher who holds the dubious honor of being smacked for #500 is Kyle Davis.

Tho' I cannot stand the Yankees, you have to give it up for A-Rod. Guy's a fantastic ballplayer.

Now we have to wait for Bonds to get 756... and then wait for A-Rod to catch him.
