The Browns will kick-off their pre-season Saturday against the Chiefs but coach Romeo Crennel is having a little difficulty in picking his starting Qb for the game.
With Cleveland's quarterback derby a dead heat, Browns coach Romeo Crennel is flipping a coin to decide if Charlie Frye or Derek Anderson starts Saturday's exhibition game against Kansas City.Yes sir, the Browns will use a coin flip to decide their starting quarterback for the first pre-season game. Because you know, that's how quality franchises are run nowadays, with the element of luck and surprise."That's the fairest way," he said.
I've come up with a few more ways for coach Romeo to pick his starter for the pre-season and they are as followed.
- Let Charlie Frey and Derek Anderson square off in Madden QB drills. Whoever gets more points is named the starter.
- Have Kamerion Wimbley sack both guys as hard and as violent as he can. Whoever gets up first gets to line up under center. (This will also be great practice considering how many times the actual Browns starter is going to get sacked during regular season games)
- Have both guys go on a motor cycle ride with Kellen Winslow. The one returning with the fewer amount of injuries is the man come opening day.
- Play a simple game of HORSE.
- Make Frey and Anderson sleep with Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. The guy that survives the longest without dying a disease infested death gets the nod.
- Expose both guys to a naked Romeo Crennel. He who loses his retina first rides the bench.
