"Roger! Roger, say something!"

So the facts are spilling out about Michael Vick & the Bad Newz dog kennels. His co-defendants, all members of the Vick Posse, are flipping faster than even Kobe could keep up with. And Ol' Roger 'Rabbit' Goodell's staying silent. Verily, the only news on this at all on the NFL front is that Vick may try a plea-bargain himself, to try & salvage an NFL career.

Plea-bargain with both the Attorney General's office, and the NFL? As each new layer is peeled away, it becomes more and more evident that Vick shouldn't be worried so much about his NFL career, and more about simply staying out of prison.

Yet... other than banning Vick from training camp - which means that he'll still get paid - Goodell's done what? Nothing.

I find this amazing. This, from the man who crucified Chris Henry & Tank Johnson... not to mention Pacman Jones. Don't get me wrong: I'm all for a stronger stance on behavior in the NFL... in all pro-sports for that matter. But the line is "...bringing the game into disrepute...", and who's done more of that than Michael Vick?

Quite a while ago, Roger Rabbit told Vick in a meeting that if there was any substance to the dog-fighting stuff, then he (Vick) would be responsible for anything that happened on the property he (Vick) owned at Moonlight Road. Well, months down the track, and is there any doubt that there were some damn heinous things being done to dogs there?

C'mon Roger, don't be a weasel: say something... P-P-P-P-PUH-lease!
