Talk about irony - 3 time World Champion Formula 1 driver Nelson Piquet, is taking driving lessons. Brazilian Piquet - who won the championship in 1981, 1983 and 1987 - lost his license due to amassing too many penalty points, and is being sent to take mandatory driving lessons.
The 54 year old ex-speedster was often seen zooming around the streets of Brasilia, in a variety of sports cars.
Add to all of this, he's taking the lessons with his wife - who also lost her license for the same reasons! No wonder his kid's an up-and-coming F1 driver - speed's in the family!

Ha that's awesome. I remember some years back, Michael Schumacher was caught speeding and in court he basically told the judge that he had proved he was the best driver in the world on several occasions so he should be allowed to drive a bit fater then everyone else.
You gotta love that.
