Top 5 Reasons to Draft Charles Rogers for Your CFL Fantasy League

Apparently, Charles Rogers is going to take his prestigous professional football career north of the border. And if you're anything like me, you're always looking for that extra "edge" in your CFL Fantasy League. I think you should draft C-Roge first. Why? Here are a few reasons...


Reason #5:

He's been using some "chemicals" to enhance his body. But aren't those "chemicals" supposed to help you heal faster? Why has this dude only played 15 games his entire professional career?

Reason #4:

The larger field in Canada (150 yards from endzone to endzone, 65 yards from sideline to sideline) is an advantage for speedy players. And I mean, Charles Rogers can burn. He's recorded the fastest time from Ford Field to the Detroit Memorial Hospital emergency room in Lions franchise history.

Reason #3:

Former NFL players destroy the Canadian League. Just take Ricky Williams for instance. Ole' Sticky Rick ran for 109 times and put up a whopping 526 yards and two scores. Overwhelming numbers baby. Hey, you never know with Charles... he might end up like Ricky and have a thing for coaching whatever Canadian team he ends up landing on.

Reason #2:

The entire state of Michigan, and Detroit for that matter, are not in Canada. Which is good because that state and city are having a streak of bad luck together. They kinda need some room. And I'm pretty sure there are no teams in that league with the mascot of "Lions". Perhaps the switch to Canadian Bacon (smoked ham) from American Bacon (uhh... bacon?) would be a nice change of pace. Apparently, our bacon makes a great sandwich too....

Reason #1:

One can't possibly break his collarbone three times... can he? What the hell is holding his upper frame together anyways? Rubber bands and straws? It was already a strange coincidence to break it more than once. To break it three times would be of the most unfortunate of timings.
