So if you didn't hear the news yesterday, South Carolina Football had a bad day by having to suspend their starting quarterback, Blake Mitchell and two other players (Cocky Generic Jock/Bum #1 and Cocky Generic Jock/Bum #2). And then, things got more spicy in Columbia as they had to suspend their starting free safety Emmanuel Cook:

South Carolina safety Emmanuel Cook was arrested on a gun charge and suspended from the university on Friday, making him ineligible to play for the Gamecocks. Cook, 19, was charged with unlawful possession of a pistol, according to a police report. Cook and James Gore III, 21, were arrested by University of South Carolina police Thursday night at a parking lot near campus dormitories, the report said. The athletic department issued a statement saying Cook was suspended from the university because of an arrest involving a weapon.

Now Cook might be alright, but that James Gore III guy is going to get the brunt of this arrest. Why? Because he's not an athlete but an everyday citizen. Like you and I. God damn do I wish I was an athlete. I'd abuse my privileges too just to let everyone else know that I'm above the man. Ain't no one gonna' hold me down. Because I'm hood. You saw my grill.
