19 Games To Go.....

There are 19 games left in the regular season and the NL Central is right back where it was on Opening Day, kind of. With a Cubs win yesterday and a Brewers loss last night, they are now tied atop the NL Central with just a few weeks to go in the regular season. If this were the Red Sox and Yankees tied in the AL East we would be bombarded with information on this rivalry and how great both teams are....instead we are left with this.

It would be one thing if these teams were playing top notch baseball heading down the stretch. A heavyweight battle would be nice with both teams throwing haymaker after haymaker at each other. Instead we are watching bullpens blow leads, outfielders miss cut-off men and supposed superstars not earning their money. With just a few weeks to go this should be the most exciting part of the regular season for MLB fans...instead it's kind of like watching two unattractive people hump on a sofa at a house party....Who wins? I'm not sure anyone does in this case.
