Just wanted to mention that for the tenth consecutive year, the dream is over for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Despite handing the Yankees an 8-2 loss on Sunday, Joe Maddon's boys were officially eliminated from the race for the American League East Division crown when the Red Sox topped the Orioles, 3-2.

Tampa Bay's focus turns now to the wild card, where they are only 19 games back with 24 to play. Win twenty in a row and you're right back in this thing, fellas.

All kidding aside - watch out for the Devil Rays in 2008. They have the makings of a solid young lineup, and if the pitching staff can pull it together (that bullpen in particular - yikes), they have a chance to surprise some people.
