Very close battle for the top spot this week, with LSU edging out USC by a mere three points. Pollsters seem to be in agreement week in and week out regarding the six best teams in the country (LSU, USC, Oklahoma, Florida, West Virginia, California), but they are also willing to penalize teams for poor performance (Louisville) and reward them for big wins (Alabama, Kentucky).
