by WCK, 100% Injury Rate
Roger Goodell has an idea. And it's a bad idea. A horrible, horrible just flat out bad idea. He wants to move the Pro Bowl up to the week before the Super Bowl.
Considering no one watches the Pro Bowl, and no one wants to play in it, what in God's name is the point of doing this?
I've also got to assume that at least a few players on both Super Bowl teams will be Pro Bowl players who (A.) Won't in any shape or form want to play in something a week before the Super Bowl and (B.) The Super Bowl teams would go apeshit if a star player of theirs WAS playing in the Pro Bowl a week before the Super Bowl.
Just fantastic work Goodell. Now we'll have a Pro Bowl in which about 10 players who should be in it won't be playing because they have the Super Bowl the following week. Then, with all the "injured players" who won't be playing in the Pro Bowl either, the NFL will probably have to bring back He Hate Me just to field a damn team.
You're starting to get cocky Goodell. Maybe you should quit while you're ahead. Or just force everyone to play in the Pro Bowl. I can see you doing that as well.

Bud Selig thinks this is a great idea, and submits that the winning Pro Bowl conference gets home field advantage in the Super Bowl.
