THROWING KNIVES: JUST LINK IT

by BD, Sports Show On Mute

Just when I thought the Tigers were going to pull within 2.5 games of the Yankees in the Wildcard those damn Yanks managed to come back from 5 down in the 8th to knock off the Sox in Boston. With 14 to play it looks like the Tigers will miss out on the playoffs this year as most of their rotation has pulled a White Sock this season. The now 8.5 line on the Florida-Tennessee game looks like a bit much to me. But, I've decided to leave it alone and concentrate on the NFL this week. I'd also recommend that +14 Nebraska is looking at but I just don't trust Sam Keller. Anyhow, this is English womens soccer's Nell McAndrew. Enjoy. (To submit links e-mail me here.)

10. The wildly popular SEC Poon was shut down this week. A huge loss for the blogging community. Unsurprisingly, Nick Saban is to blame for something else. (Mac G's World)

9. To relieve the pressure of final cuts one of the Chiefs decided to streak the locker room during the season finale of Hard Knocks. (Arrowhead Addict)

8. If soccer is ever going to become relevant in America this is what we need to see. (Beautiful Game)

7. I doubt you want to see the new NHL jerseys after checking out last season ratings. But, I decided I should at least give you the opportunity to say no. (Pop Jocks)

6. Brian gets his interview cherry popped by Tina Cervasio of NESN. And yes, she is married. (One More Dying Quail)

5. Is Bill Simmons anti-gay? Probably not. But I'd imagine the 4 letter would prefer he didn't leave it to question. (Brahsome)

4. Matt Wilhelm leaked the starling information that Rex Grossman may be a mental midget. But, is he sitting on the short bus alongside Rexy? (First and Ten Inches)

3. A tribute to Ned, who bravely stormed the field in defense of his teammates last season against Miami. (100% Injury Rate)

2. Is Kige Ramsey cut from the same cloth as the alleged father of the world? Uhh.. No. (SimonOnSports)

1. A fantastic picture that captures exactly what's happening in Ann Arbor this afternoon. (Sports Hernia)
