WOULD YOU DATE A GIRL WHO COULD KICK YOUR ASS?

I had no intention of turning this into a post about surprisingly attractive women, but sometimes you stumble across new things and feel the need to share them. I knew full well that Mixed Martial Arts was a popular sport. It has everything violence-obsessed Americans crave - two guys beating the shit out of each other for our enjoyment, with limited rules. But did anyone else know that women did this as well? That there are MMA leagues where women beat the sh*t out of each other?

Not that women can't or shouldn't be involved. If they love to fight and don't die in the process, more power to them. I'll watch women get beat each other bloody. I've seen girls fight before, but it was a lot of hair-pulling and slapping and falling on the ground. Not this. These chicks will bust you with an uppercut and knee you in the groin.

As I researched this interesting endeavor, I came across this article, which summarized a MMA event in Denver: "Michelle Waterson is going to find stardom some time in the future with or without the UFC ... she is doing everything right for her career. Oh yes. Did I mention she is hot? Known as the 'Karate Hottie', she has been a bikini model before but is now a full time fighter."

Naturally, this needed exploring. As it turns out, this gorgeous woman (see picture above) kicks ass for a living.

While none of the others are quite at Ms. Waterson's level, there are plenty more women who can beat you down and love you in the same day. Among them are Erin Toughill, Melanie Kohler, Gina Carano and Julie Kedzie.

You really do learn something new everyday.
