Last weekend's college football slate must have been a bookie's dream. Seriously, it seems as if every Top 10 team fell to a big dog. Oklahoma, Florida, West Virginia, Rutgers, Texas... if you made any money last weekend, God bless you. You are a smarter man than every college football pundit and myself. So where does that leave me this week? It leaves me saying this: There is no no way hell in that there can be that many upsets again this weekend. Maybe not in 10 years. I'm going with the favorites. On to the picks....
Last Week's Recap
Pick of the Week
Kansas State +10 Texas - I'm mad at myself for not picking against this highly overrated Longhorns team. That 41-21 score was long overdue.
Bust of the Week
Chargers -9.5 Chiefs - The Chargers had to win this one. At home. ... Against the Chiefs... right? Norv Turner may seriosuly be on the hottest seat in America right now.
Upcoming Week
Trap Line
Wisconsin -2 ILLINOIS - I lost my first trap game of the season last week when Akron laid an egg at UConn, but I got a good feeling about Wisconsin playing a slightly overrated Illini squad.
Head Scratching Line
CLEMSON -5.5 Va Tech - Tech hasn't been mighty impressive all season, but Clemson just put up 3 points against Georgia Tech.
Jump Right In Line
Over/Under 48 PATS - Browns - I normally shy away from over/unders, but I can't pass this up. There may 98 points combined in this game, 72 of which are scored by the Pats.
