COLT BRENNAN FOR PRESIDENT

by Sooze, Babes Love Baseball

Ankle injury? Colt Brennan knows not of pain.

In a Brett Favre-esque performance on a wet and muddy evening -- highlighted by 545 passing yards and 4 interceptions -- Brennan led the No. 16 Hawaii Warriors to a thrilling comeback over the San Jose State Spartans, rallying from a 14-point deficit in the final four minutes of their first nationally-televised game.

Completing 44 of a WAC record 74 pass attempts, Brennan extended his streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass to 32.

He orchestrated the tying touchdown on a 2-yard run with 31 seconds left in regulation before throwing an 8-yard TD pass to Jason Rivers on the first OT possession to give the Warriors a 42-35 victory and a glimmer of hope for a BCS bid with representatives from the Fiesta Bowl in the house.

Hawaii is 4-0 in the WAC and 7-0 overall, off to their best start since 1981.

I can't wait to see this kid in the NFL.

Didn't Brennan have to leave Colorado because of rape allegations?

He's not that good... you forgot to mention he threw 4 picks against San Jose State! Hawaii doesn't deserve the embarrassment of a BCS Bowl and getting their asses kicked in front of everyone.

Neil -- dude, put on your specs. Not only did I mention that he threw 4 picks (which is why I compared his performance to Brett Favre) it's underlined and in purple. Do you know what an "interception" is?

Anonymous -- "unlawful sexual contact" in a dorm room is not rape. Remember all the stories of the out of control CU recruiting parties for football players with hookers and alcohol on hand? He was thrown out of that school so he wouldn't expose the just-as-guilty faculty. As far as what he did, he was wasted, and allegedly barged into a girls' dorm room, took out his dick and fondled her. Obviously, that is totally inappropriate, sick and wrong. If anyone ever pulled that shit on me, I'd fricking stab the guy. But there wasn't enough evidence to convict him, so the charge was vacated.

The end.

No. Colt Brennan is a collegiate system quarterback. And not a great one at that.

How many of Steve Spurrier's charges have held success in the pros? What about Andre Ware or David Klingler?

They ran a gimmick offense in college. The were both the consummate professional busts.

So to Colton Brennan.
