by Shorty, Milk Was a Bad Choice
With all due respect to the 0-5 New Orleans Saints and St. Louis Rams, there is no worse NFL team to be a fan of at this point than the Miami Dolphins. At the very least, the fans of those two teams can take solace in the fact that their franchises were hurt by injuries and that they have solid players at most of their skill positions going forward. The Dolphins cannot say that. Instead, here are the top five things Dolphins fans have to complain about in no particular order...
- The team is 0-5 and well on their way to either the first or second overall draft pick in a year where we don't even have a valid Heisman candidate yet in college football.
- 87 year old starting QB Trent Green nearly died on the football field Sunday due to an ugly concussion for the second consecutive season. Speaking of old, have you seen the Miami Defense lately? Zach Thomas & Jason Taylor have been Dolphins since Don Strock was the starting Quarterback.
- Coach Cam'ron refused to give Ronnie Brown all the carries in weeks one & two, and instead made him split carries with Tracy Chapman.
- They currently have the first white guy playing in an NFL secondary since Jason Sehorn.
- Instead of drafting Brady Quinn with the 9th overall pick in the 2007 Draft, they chose a kick returner who is injury prone and only touches the football five times per game at most. Ted Ginn Jr? Are you serious?

You know, I don't mind that we didn't draft Quinn. I really think that Beck will be a better qb than him...
But that said, it pains me to see Amobi Okoye (the guy picked after Ginn and who I was hoping we'd draft) kick ass in Houston while our run defense gets shredded for 400 yards by an amputated gnome.
Great times...
Great call Dave...I meant to mention that about Okoye...he & Super Mario are looking like quite the tandem in Houston...
Fins are a mess but give some love to my Hawkeye white boy, Sean Considine, lighting people up in Philly.

Houston took a lot of heat for that Williams pick but I think they've done very well with some of their draft picks.
Williams, Okoye, Dunta Robinson, Demeco Ryans, Andre Johnson, Jacoby Jones. That's a solid core right there to build around...
When does next season start? This is rough.
Ugh.
