CHEERLEADER FRIDAY

After much thought, research and consideration we have come up with this week's featured siren of spirit. Since we began this feature we have done nothing but meet cheerleaders for football teams, both college and pro, so we thought maybe we should shed some light on the basketball ranks. And since Knicks fans have so little to feel good about right now, we thought this might be the salve for their wounds.

First up we'd like you to get to know a little about Erika! Erika is from Toledo, Ohio. Her favorite quote is "Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits." And her pet peeve is lateness. A girl after my own heart!

Next up is Danielle! Danielle was born in Vernon, New Jersey. We won't hold that against you, haha! In high school, she was the fastest 100m hurdler in North Jersey, and I still hold the record at my high school and she once danced for 48 hours straight with my best friends to help raise $4.2 million for pediatric cancer. Ohh, what a sweetheart!

Not to be left out is Kristin! Kristin is from Long Island and was a was a 7th and 8th grade Spanish teacher there. Hot for teacher indeed! She also performed with Thalia at the Latin Grammys at MSG last year, and was on Saturday Night Live. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Stephanie McMahon?

And our last Honey of the Hardwood today is Amanda. Mandy accomplished two of her life goals this year. 1 - To become a KCD. 2 - To run the ING NYC Marathon. Keep on truckin' Amanda and the world is your oyster!
