In case you didn't hear, Hawaii's Colt Brennan tied Ty Detmer's mark for most career touchdown passes in college last night in the Warriors defeat of Fresno State to move his squad to a perfect 9-0. It took Brennan just 34 games to tie the record that Detmer set in 46 games.
The thing is, Colt may not be able to break the record since Fresno State's Marcus Riley damn near took his head off with a hit late in the game.
Colt concussed ... after the jump.
It looked like he was out before he ever hit the ground. Coach June Jones said Brennan was "fine" and expected him to be ready for the next game. I assume this statement was made based on Jones' many years as a neurologist. Or maybe he just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
