The contest entries for The Black Flag-Direct TV NASCAR Hotpass Moment Contest are now in the hands of the judges.
This contest may have managed to attract a few entrants who have a straight jacket somewhere with their name on it. But we did get a number of solid entries.
Without question, the passion and knowledge about NASCAR that was demonstrated in this competition is what has made NASCAR the number two sport in the US (along with passion and knowledge, very large quantities of adult beverages seems to have helped things along as well).
Add to that mix some strong feelings about Rusty Wallace and ABC/ESPN (you know, hate is a really ugly word, but I think in this case it is a really honest one).
Some of my favorites were one liners. We got some other solid entries that went a bit longer.
The one I thought was most clear and to the point sadly came in with bad contact information.
The writer simply f-bombed 250 times.
That all being said, what I liked doesn't matter, it is all up to the judges now.
To all of you who entered, thank you and good luck.
