Dear Kentucky Wildcats Basketball People,
Enough is enough. Will someone please stop this insanity?!
I think it's become clear at this point in his tenure as the Kentucky basketball head coach that Billy Gillispie is simply not the man for the job. Billy has had every chance to prove that he was deserving of this hire, but at some point you have to cut your losses and start over.
The time has come to FIRE BILLY GILLISPIE.
I don't know what they do down there at Mississippah State, Billy, but here at Kentucky we do not lose to freaking Gardner Webb! We fall in epic battles like the shimmering warriors that we are to historic powerhouses like Vanderbilt. I will not stand idly by with my unwarranted sense of entitlement and watch my Kentucky team be the underwhelming team that everybody thought they would be. It's not right!
Do you know what it means to be a Kentucky man, Billy? Clearly you do not. Let me tell you what my average day looks like. I wake up at the crack of 10:00 and log onto a 'Cats message board. (User name just recently changed to SuckItBilly69420.) I drop my insights, then it's off to work, where I have to follow all my 'Cats news on a cell phone. An effing cell phone! Do you know how hard it is to text your buddies with all this knowledge I'm slanging when the 3 and 7 are missing from your phone? Then it's back to Ma's house with a bucket of KFC to get cracking on watching game tape, not to mention the letters I have to write to the Athletic Director with my thoughts on each game. How else would they know that Joe Crawford is the total suxorz?
And I do it for the program, Billy. I started cheering for this program at the age of four when Daddy told me he'd kneecap me real good if I didn't starting cheering for dem 'Cats. And I've invested time, heartache, and at least $65 in this program, only to watch my team not win national championships every year. This is Kentucky, darnit! This is my birthright.
You're on pace to go 15-15 this year, Billy. That is not Kentucky basketball. In fact, that's South Carolina basketball. Oh Jesus, I just threw up Busch Light in my mouth.
It's time to git out, Billy. REHIRE TUBBY!

sad thing is, you are a lot closer to the truth (except for the rehiring of Tubby) than anyone would guess... i just wish i could watch these next two-weeks of practice.
Nice, this is the second "let's pretend to be a kentucky fan wanting to fire Billy" post I've seen today. The Internet never dissapoints.
By the way, we had FireBilly.com up and running as soon as he was hired. Of course, we break against the norm and try to engage in rational analysis there. I know, what are the odds of that?
I have being a Bib UK fans since I was 5 years old. I them people it was to to be a big mistake to let Tubby Smith leave. But fans you run a good off ( T. Smith) so know we we have Billy are you happy now?
