NATALIE GULBIS HAS NO PROBLEM WITH BEING HOT

Apparently, rumors that Natalie Gulbis is trying to clean up her image are false. And I can think of no one more relieved than...me. I've made it no secret here at the Carnival that my love of the Gulbis runs deep and true. So, you can imagine my relief upon reading this morning that the 2007 Evian Masters champ has no plans of becoming wholesome.

It was first rumored that Natalie would cut the sexy by public relations for the company that produces her calendar, but Natalie says that the PR person decided she would take liberties not bestowed upon her. According to the PR person, Susan Hogg,

“With the original stuff, she was in a beautiful bathing suit, tights and things and that certainly got the attention of a lot of people. But we’re trying to scoot it more to who she is and where she wants to take (her career and name) … and being a role model, specifically to young girls and women in general. That’s the brand we’re trying to portray.”

However, Natalie states quite the contrary,

“That’s not true at all,” she said of the story that originally appeared last week in the Richmond Times-Dispatch. “I haven’t tried to tweak my image at all. I’ve been proud of everything I’ve come up with.”

Let me just go on record by saying that I respect Natalie's decision, and would like to remind everyone that, yes, there is a God.
