The NFL has told its officiating crews to start ejecting players for flagrant helmet-to-helmet hits.
That's what they said a week or so ago. So how is this not an automatic ejection? Maybe the ref just didn't see it... Oh, wait, he is standing right there... throwing a flag. Never mind...
