USC is probably a few steps below Notre Dame on the nation's hatred list for college football teams. They aren't the Yankees of college football, but they might be the Red Sox. Still, when you are announcing an NFL game it might be a good idea to not refer to USC players as "thugs" ... ahem, Steve Beuerelein, even if LenDale White did just kick a player and draw a 15-yard penalty.
