by Andrew, The Grand National ChampionshipsI like it when you fail. I like watching your hopes and dreams cascading to the ground like the battery of an Eagles fan after Belichick goes for it on 4th and 2 with his team up 35 next Sunday. It makes me happy. It makes me so glad to be alive.
Why? Why am I so cruel? Because the fact of the matter is sports are built with disappointment in mind. Only in college football do you really have a lot of teams that can end their season with a win. You will lose when it counts.
That makes me happy.
The plucky underdog will fail you, and I will dance.
The star hero will fail you, and I will laugh.
The team of destiny is destined to fail. And I will motherfucking sing.
Really. I want to see your dreams and heroes fail.
Rock Chalk's about to get cockblocked.
