With many of the most rumored teams bowing out of the Kobe Bryant sweepstakes, new speculation has emerged that the Los Angeles Breakers are close to entering discussions for the disgruntled superstar.
In what would be the biggest trade in team history, the three time world champion Breakers would trade everyone except David "Latino Lover" Guzman to the Lakers for Bryant. Ironically, Guzman has a no-trade clause similar to Bryant's.
"Kobe is the biggest name in town and although we usually don't play with anyone of his stature, we had to make an offer," said the Breakers general manager. "Even with only Guzman and Bryant, I guarantee we're gonna stomp the competition in the next D.A.A.A. World Games. And we might even be able to sell a few jerseys too."
Although Kobe would play the role of Gulliver on the Lilliputian-esque Breakers, the team's head coach has already made it clear Bryant will keep his position at the shooting guard and not be moved to center, despite an obvious advantage in height.
"That's been his position all his life," said the head coach. "It's Kobe Bryant. The man could play anywhere and win a world championship himself in our league."
News of the possible trade even caught Breaker fans by surprise.
"Kobe for pretty much our entire team? Umm ... ok." said one fan.
"He would cost us all but one guy?" said another fan. "Well, isn't he a ball hog anyway? At least he doesn't have to worry about passing the ball now."
No word yet from the Lakers on the Breakers' offer.

That's fantastic. I loved on Little People, Big World how people made a stink about #54 pushing the limits of being a "little person."
I will never visit this site again.
