TOP 21 CONSOLATIONS FOR EAGLES FANS

by DMtShooter, Five Tool Tool

21. Thanks to the late INTs from AJ "I Can Do Everything But Throw To The Outside" Feeley, no real QB controversy

20. Randy Moss was actually called for pass interference

19. Despite the end result, was still one of the more enjoyable games of the year to watch

18. Got to see old friend Curt Schilling, and he hasn't been on the TV in *weeks*

17. Actually forced a 3 and out

16. Made NE do more than the first thing they tried (i.e., 4 WRs to actually calling running plays) to win

15. Tom Brady's personage was briefly and violently sullied by the hands of Juqua Thomas, Chris Gucong and Darren Howard

14. Were actually better at the line of scrimmage

13. They came back from a 7-point deficit twice, and actually led the game in the fourth quarter

12. Patriots needed a good number of the ridiculous calls they got

11. The game was competitive well past all of the Fox animated shows, beating the over-under of "First episode of Family Guy"

10. The Cardinals, Giants and Redskins all lost, so the wild card isn't impossible

9. Donovan McNabb should be well-rested for the Seahawks

8. Even though the Bears won, they lost Fat Ced Benson, and no team has ever recovered from a loss of that magnitude

7. The record for largest point spread for a non-expansion team in NFL history isn't going to last very long, with the Jets and Dolphins on the upcoming Patriot schedule

6. Bought the team a week of non-Andy Reid's Kids stories

5. No more night games this year, and very possibly next

4. The rest of the country is starting to agree with the idea that New England fans are more obnoxious than Philly fans

3. It was actually a football game

2. That Week 16 game in Dallas... isn't looking so hopeless any more

1. Covered the spread with a freaking vengeance
