OTHER WWE NEWS:

-- Chances of seeing Owen Hart in the WWE HOF someday? Excellent. The chances of seeing Angle, Lesnar, and Goldberg in the WWE again? Slim.

-- Matt Hardy is said to be doing much better. His latest checkup showed that his body is free of infection and he is recovering nicely.

-- WWE has signed Ric Flair’s youngest son Reid Fliehr, 19, to a developmental contract. He will be reporting to Florida Championship Wrestling next month.

-- Despite speculation, Rob Van Dam has not signed any contract with WWE.

-- Batista said seeing The Great Khali hold the world title made him sick to his stomach. Batista said, "I didn’t think he deserved the world championship. I don’t want to say it made me sick to my stomach to see the title in his hands, but it really did make me sick to my stomach."

-- Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton and Umaga is the main event for the January 26th three-brand house show in Providence the night before the Royal Rumble.

-- A new WWE DVD was released titled 'The Triumph and Tragedy of World Class Championship Wrestling'. It is a two disc set with a total running time of 360 minutes and features a collection of the greatest matches in WCCW history.

TNA NEWS:

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!

-- WWE: In Rochester, NY they are advertising the main event as Edge vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Title at the ECW/SmackDown! show on December 18th. This could be an indication that The Undertaker may not be the one winning the title at Armageddon.

-- WWE: Local ads have been advertising WWE Champion Randy Orton defending his WWE Championship against Jeff Hardy in the main event on the January 20, 2008, WWE RAW house show in Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena, Binghamton, N.Y. The other main event features Triple H facing Umaga in a Steel Cage Match. This would mean that Jericho will lose to Orton at Armageddon and Jeff Hardy will defeat Triple H to become the number one contender for the WWE Championship.

-- WWE: Advanced local ads now running in the Syracuse, New York market for the January 18th RAW house show are promoting Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship.

-- WWE: Triple H is reported to be set to win the title from Randy Orton, probably at the Royal Rumble. If that's the case, then Triple H will be going over Hardy at Armageddon. And Orton is likely retaining his title against Jericho. The plan after that is for Triple H to wrestle Batista at WrestleMania.

-- WWE/ECW: Advanced ads for the December 29th SmackDown/ECW taping in Baltimore, MD are promoting WWE World Champion Batista vs. Edge for the title in a last man standing match. Undertaker is also being advertised for the event.
