Perpetually injured pitcher Mark Prior, let go by the team that drafted him, the Cubs, has agreed to a contract with the San Diego Padres. And the outlook is as rosy as ever for the former first-round pick.

He has been throwing on flat ground, and to date, has been free of pain since his surgery.

Of course he has.

The season hasn't started yet.
