CHEERLEADER FRIDAY

by DCScrap, Editor

Another week, another edition of Cheerleader Friday! TGICF, babay!

This week we are going in a direction rarely taken here at Cheerleader Friday. We are heading to the ice. We were just so damn taken with that game they played in the snow last week, we figured we needed to show a little more love to the NHL.

Introducing the Columbus Blue Jackets Power Patrol! (Whatever the eff that is.)

First up is Kristi. Kristi is a hometown girl, and says that her favorite Blue Jackets player is Sergei Fedorov. "I've read a lot about his contributions to charity and the community. He seems to be a true leader and a great asset to Columbus as a person, as well as a player." Plus he hit Anna Kournikova!

Next is Courtney and Holly.

Courtney is from Orient, Ohio and says that her favorite in game promotion is musical chairs on the ice, "Because it is a really funny and exciting game that anyone can play - I always want to jump right in and play too!" I'd like you to play with me!

Holly (right) is from Dublin (Ohio!) and says that her favorite Blue Jackets player is Pascal Leclaire, "Who doesn't love the goalie?" Who doesn't love Holly?!

And lastly we have Sarah and Jackie.

Sarah is from Newark (Ohio!) and says her favorite thing about being a Pepsi Power Patrol member is driving the Mountain Dew DewMolisher and throwing T-shirts at screaming fans... even though sometimes I have bad aim! I'd love to show you my aim, Sarah!

Jackie (right) is also from Orient, Ohio and says the best thing about Blue Jackets games is the high energy and crazy fans, and hanging out with Mike Todd and Bob the organist at the Fan Stand! Can I show you my organ, Jackie?

We hope you enjoyed this week's look at some of this country's finest athletes and entertainers. Be sure to check back next week when we profile yet another one of America's sweethearts of the sidelines.
