PIP'S QUIPS AND CLIPS

One of my favorite NBA ballers of all time, Scottie Pippen, has been back in the news. Recently, he made his professional basketball return by playing two games for the number one club in Finland, Torpan Pojat.

Pippen scored 21 points total in two of his team's victories. He vows his comeback career is officially over and hopes his mini playing tour inspired young Finnish kids to pick up the sport of basketball.

Pippen wants to coach in the NBA and possibly with the Bulls someday.

He is not shy with his criticism of the individual Bulls players currently struggling and publicly chastised them in the Chicago Tribune. Summarizing his comments:

Tyrus Thomas is a not smart basketball player
Ben Wallace is overpaid and needs to show more effort
Ben Gordon takes bad shots
Loul Deng is too slow
Andres Noccioni is a whiner
Kirk Hinrich is not that talented and my favorite quote on Hinrich:"But you can't have midgets running your backcourt."

I agree with Pip on almost every point, although I still think Bulls GM John Paxson is the one who should have lost his job, not Scott Skiles.
