CAN YOU SAY HYPE?

For the next two weeks, All we are going to hear is about the budding rivalry between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. Do you remember when these two cities meet on the playing field during baseball season? It is the most intense rivalry in American sports (Celtic vs Rangers or Real Madrid vs Barcelona is still bigger in soccer).

We are going to hear tons of trash talking from WFAN in NYC and WEEI in Boston which are the two biggest sports talk radio stations in the country. We get to hear Chris Russo talk about how the Giants are the second coming of the Bears defense and how Eli Manning has become a true superstar. You get to hear Glenn Ordway play the fence on ever issue with the Patriots without giving his real opinion.

The biggest thing between these teams is a little known Giants player called Zack DeOssie whose father is one of the Patriots commentators in the Boston area and played for the New England Patriots near the end of his career. Zack also was a ball boy growing up with the Patriots.
