Colts back-up running back Kenton Keith was arrested early Sunday morning for being a badass in public, chilling at Cloud 9, and saying "ain't no pork gonna' tell me when I got to go":
Keith, 27, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was out of jail Monday after posting a $1,000 bond. All that stuff really isn't that bad until you add in the "contribution to the delinquency of a minor". Sneaking in 19 year olds into the club isn't exactly looked highly upon by this great country's legal system. What's strange about all of this is the fact that Keith was hanging out with a bunch of dudes in the parking lot... dancing. I'd understand if there were some of Cloud 9's finest females involved with the parking lot... uhh... loitering? But just Keith and his boys jammin' and dancing? This blogger is a little suspicious.
The Colts acknowledged the arrest in a statement released Monday afternoon, claiming that they will penalize Keith accordingly. His hearing has been set for Wednesday.
According to police, security guards were attempting to clear a parking lot at the Cloud 9 nightclub in Indianapolis at approximately 3 a.m. EDT on Sunday.
And what professional athlete arrest isn't complete without the old "do you know who I am?" card?:
Keith reportedly “kept hollering, ‘I’m a Colts player. I’m not doing anything wrong and I will leave when I am ready.’”Indeed Kenton, you are a Colt. But you forget that just being a player in the National Football League doesn't put you above the law. That privilege is only reserved for the superstars, dude...
