Watching the NFL Draft this weekend, it has given me an idea. What if there were a draft in which every athlete from every sport was in it. Based on their value, skill, age, upside, ability, and their marketability, who would be the top picks? Well in this mock draft, I have compiled the top 10 picks for the all sports draft.
Pick number 1: Tiger Woods easily the most dominate athlete of all time, Tiger is a winner. He is still relatively young (32 years old)and has the ability to pack a venue with fans. Any owner would drool at the chance to hire Tiger Woods. He's also one of the most
marketable athletes and has no baggage to go along with him. He's a family man with lots of money, plus hes got a hot wife. Tiger Woods, the Number one pick.
Pick number 2: Sidney Crosby aka Sid the kid. This 20 year old is so good its scary. A probable NHL mvp, Crosby would fit in perfectly with any team. Talent is not an issue with him, he could be one of the best all time before its all over. He is probably the best value on the list because he will play for many more years.
Pick number 3: LeBron James. King James as he like to be called is a good pick here. In fact, its almost a steal for him to be the third pick. He has shown how good he is by taking his team to the NBA finals, winning All-Star MVP honors, and compiling over 30 ppg this season. LeBron is the most electrifying player in his sport with his high flying dunks. He seems to play better when the pressure is on and his team needs him most and he will probably be bringing home an Olympic gold medal soon.
Pick number 4: Tom Brady. This NFL quarterback just came off one of the best seasons ever. He has the Championship rings that any owner dreams of. He is only 30 so he still has some years left to play. Brady will draw fans and is very marketable which = dollar signs for you. Oh yeah, and hes dating super model Gisele Bundchen which vaults him up my draft board!!
Pick number 5: Alex Rodriguez. The 32 year old A-rod is the best player in Major League Baseball today. as he continues his quest to break records, any team owner would chomp at the bit to have him on their roster. He was last years MVP and plays in one of the most media oriented cities. I would like to draft A-rod later in the rounds because he will run your wallet dry trying to sign him but he is too good to pass up.
Pick number 6: Christiano Ronaldo. At 23, Ronaldo is one of those picks that is a no brainer. You can't go wrong with this star. He plays in the premier league for Manchester United and won English POY and came in third for world POY in 2007. Ronaldo would be a steal because there is a good chance he would slip in the draft. At almost 10 years younger that many of the other athletes, Ronaldo would be a great asset. Plus no matter who he is dating, they will be smoking hot, guaransheed. I like him at pick 6.
Pick number 7: Peyton Manning. Two years ago, Peyton would have been at worst the #2 pick. Don't worry though, hes still better than average. Another 32 year old, Peyton is the best. He may be the best Quarterback of all time when hes done playing. He wins MVP awards, wins Super Bowls, and has a brother named Eli. I wouldn't mind trading down my pick if i was able to draft manning.
Pick number 8: Hanley Ramirez. This is the first Surprise of this years draft. Hanley Ramirez may not seem like the right pick, but I assure you, he is. He is only 24 years old, and has already established himself as one of the games best players. In 2006 he won rookie of the year. He will give you 30 HR's and 50 steals a year, just what you need.
Pick number 9: Kobe Bryant. Arguably the best player in his sport today. The only reason he slips past Lebron James is his age. Kobe is 29 where James is only 23. The closest thing to Michael Jordan, Kobe will fill your stadium with fans. People come from all over to catch a glimpse of Kobe. He will take the team on his back and score points by the dozens. He might even put up 81
Pick number 10: Lorena Ochoa. The only female of the group, she is ranked #1 in the LPGA, is qualified for the Hall of Fame, and she is young. What more do you need from a draft pick?
Just missing out: Roger Federer, Phil Mickelson, Adrian Peterson, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Maria Sharapova, Johan Santana, Wayne Rooney, Alexander Ovechkin, Tim Duncan, Michael Phelps and Allison Stokke... ok I'm kidding on that last one but hey, shes at least hot!

Sorry, but Crosby might not be the #1 pick in an NHL redo draft....you gonna discount Ovechkin like that?
I thought about it but Crosby is a more popular player. Thats why hes so high on the draft.
Where the hell is Chris Paul?
where's chase utley? or even cole hamels? and theres plenty of soccer players that should make this list. leo messi, wayne rooney, theo walcott. all 22 or under
Roger Federer should be #2
Uhh I know swimming doesn't mean anything to you but there is a guy named Michael Phelps. Look him up gonna win 8 Golds in Bejing. Pretty good if you ask me
Jenny Finch.
most of the people you all mentioned are in the just missed the top 10 list at the bottom. I only did 10 picks and they were very hard to determine. Not everyone can make the list!!!
Who the hell is Sindey Crosby? Americans don't watch hocky, take that nonsense back to Canada.
i'm canadian and i agree, crosby should not be in the top 5 if you are talking international marketability.
Thank you, some people just don't understand that aspect of it
It's Cristiano Ronaldo, not Christiano...as for Messi, Rooney, and Walcott, the first two are, to put it kindly, not the sexiest guys alive (although they're both great players) and Walcott has little to no marketing viability outside of England. Also, he's not that talented (in comparison to everyone else in the top ten) currently. I'd say Sharapova over Ochoa and someone else rather than Kobe, whose marketing power has greatly declined recently...overall, a pretty good list though. Crosby certainly deserves to be on there; ask anyone about the NHL and the first thing that they will say will be "Sidney Crosby."
tiger is great, but most dominate athlete of all time? he isn't even the most dominant athlete of his generation. his name is roger federer.
To comment on that last one, Tiger Woods is wayyyy more marketable than Roger Federer. He would be picked higher than Roger any day.
