8. We have every major sports league. Yes, we have a soccer team and two professional lacrosse teams.

6. St. Patrick's Day is Evacuation Day so you get the day off if you work for the City.

5. We get to watch great sporting events like the Beanpot and the Boston Marathon. Hint: Mile 18 is a great drinking spot.

4. We have a mayor that mumbles more then Mumbles from the Dick Tracy movie.

3. You get to head to games with your buddies Sully and Jimmy Mac from the South end.

2. Six championships in the last 6 1/2 years. Can it get any better? Of course, could have been 7 titles.

1. We have Rolling Rallies instead of a real parade because we rock.
