DJ AM checks out of hospital

Ten days after surviving a plane crash that took the lives of four other people, Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) has reportedly checked out of the Augusta, Georgia hospital in which he was being treated for injuries.

Per his publicist:

"While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide," his rep, Jenni Weinman, says in a statement. "We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends."

Goldstein reportedly suffered burns on the upper half of his body, requiring an airlift to the hospital, while friend and tour mate Travis Barker was transported via ground. An unfortunate turn of events, really, when you go from tagging Mandy Moore to nearly losing your life in a plane crash. I'm still tyring to decide if I'd attempt to survive a crash in order to have sex with the aforementioned Moore.

No word on how much one of those low-life Web sites will be paying for the first photographs of the newly released AM. Of course, I'll be striking through "low life" if we somehow come up with the funds...
