Yahoo Sports writer Dan Wetzel checked in with an article about the NCAA's investigations over the last few years about cheating. He says in the article that no major basketball program has been caught cheating in over two years while the NCAA hasn't caught a single football program cheating in 15 months.
How could this be possible? The NCAA is loaded with cheating and lying going around in the background of college sports.
I guess Myles Brand doesn't include self-imposed suspensions which followed a cheating scandal last winter at Florida State. Several football and baseball players were suspended multiple games by the university and not by the NCAA. When the NCAA did finish their investigation, they found the sanctions from FSU to be sufficient enough to not warrant further action. Are you serious? The players and the administration were cheating in the classroom to keep the student-athletes eligible.
Since most of our readers are college educated, How many of you saw a student-athlete cheat in classes or not come to class and still be eligible?
