by Mr. E, Staff WriterWhile Americans nationwide were paying their respects to those that were lost during the terrorist attacks of September 11th now seven years ago, some business men in the city of Memphis, Tennessee had bigger fish to fry. That's right, folks, if you were in Memphis yesterday, you had the chance to place bids on countelss pairs of stripper shoes and even a pole or two, as Platinum Plus, the town's most "notorious" night club auctioned off everything in site.
The owner was forced to close the doors after "Operation Last Call." You won't believe it, but a police-led investigation uncovered several counts of... wait for it... prostitution and illegal drug sales! Man, just when you think you have a wholesome business...
Audio found here sheds the details on what was on the auction block.
"We are going to be auctioning off everything from stoves and refrigerators to poles, to pairs of shoes..."Sadly, I'm not a stripper auction expert, but I'm sure you could have gotten all eBay on a few of these items and perhaps combine them to save on shipping. I wonder if they used PayPal?
"In fact there are about 200 pairs of stripper shoes for sale. You can also pick up a smoke machine, a disco ball, even a pair of pasties."
No word on if they auctioned off their collection of hepatitis.

I went to that place one time, and I shit you not, it is the only strip joint I have ever been to that guys were parking their cars and running across the parking lot to get to the door. I am not making this up, and let me tell you, once I got in, I knew why they were running. It was absolutely top shelf talent in there.
