Since I know so little about international soccer, other than the fans like to riot and kill each other and the players, I'll let the experts at the News of the World get the ball rolling here.
Nice use of the word 'horror', Arsene...Furious Arsene Wenger called for Birmingham's Martin Taylor to be kicked out of football for this horror tackle which broke Arsenal star Eduardo's leg.
Arsenal boss Wenger accused Birmingham defender Martin Taylor of deliberately trying to injury the striker and said his third-minute tackle was "unforgivable".I think this calls for a duel on Main Street at high noon.
Wenger stormed: "The injury is the result of a very bad tackle. It is not forgivable.Ohhh-kay... let's settle down and breathe cowboy. Did Joe Gibbs scream stuff like that when L.T. snapped Theesman's leg like a Popsicle stick? No. Then again, it was Theesman, so maybe that's a bad comparison. Oh well, I am sure this will just blow over. People in and around soccer usually let calmer heads prevail about such things.
"This guy (Taylor) should never play again. People will say he is not the type of guy who does that. It is like a guy who kills one time in his life. There is still a dead person."
WARNING: The pictures are very graphic. Be sure to eat first.
