Swedish hockey: A dildo dodging good time

Apparently, it is hockey season. Also apparent is that fans overseas are way cooler than fans in the states. When celebrating here, fans throw hats and the occasional squid. But in Sweden, they dig for dirt on the opposition and then toss whatever they deem necessary - even if it's a sex toy.

Supporters of the Stockholm-based AIK ice hockey team scored an unusual hat trick of heckling on Tuesday night featuring dildos, profane banners, and a giant inflatable penis.

The taunts were directed at Jan Huokko, a stocky defenceman with the Leksand hockey club in Sweden’s second-tier professional hockey league, and a former player with AIK.

You see, the aforementioned Huokko was the recent subject of some cell phone pictures that landed in the wrong hands. Well, "wrong" if you're Huokko. Very "right" if you're a fan of the opposing team that then gets to throw dildos at the players. And tell me that you've seen a better sign than the one above? Here, people get in trouble for wearing "Fukodome" t-shirts. There, let it rip. Extra points for neon colors.
