Paris Hilton set for new film role

Paris Hilton will be adding another film role to her less than impressive portfolio. Hilton has been tabbed to appear in a new film by acclaimed director Todd Solondz.

The heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune, party girl and convict will act alongside Allison Janney, Charlotte Rampling and Paul Reubens in the as-yet-untitled project about a group of dysfunctional characters.

Talk about the perfect choice for a movie about dysfunctional characters.

The movie is described as "part-sequel, part variation" to Solondz's 1998 movie Happiness. Filming is already underway in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Hilton's previous big screen experience includes near-miss Oscar performances in the 2006 horror film House of Wax and more recently the rock opera musical Repo! The Genetic Opera.

I wonder why the producers of the television show Prison Break haven't contacted Paris to appear in an episode. Think about it - what better person to portray someone breaking out of prison that Paris Hilton.
