In a move of what is likely to be shear coincidence, New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez was in Mexico City this past weekend where he was teaching children to bat at a brand new sports center. Simultaneously, pop star Madonna was touring in the same city in front of a sold-out crowd that evening.
No word on whether the two celebrities met while in Mexico, but I'm just hoping that those kids got the proper training as Rodriguez seems to forget how to bat after the month of August. Perhaps it was a form of sabotage?
