Epic Carnival | Where Sports and Pop Culture Collide: Behave yourselves, Ball State fans

Behave yourselves, Ball State fans

by GMoney, The Money Shot

I feel for you guys. I really do. I went to a MAC school. In fact, my alma mater finished 10th in the nation in 2003 behind Big Ben. However, we've also won 10 games over the past three seasons and just ran our coach out of town. I've been there. I know that these opportunities are rare and you need to make the most of them.

Ball State had a chance to go down as one of the greatest non-BCS teams of all time yet let it slip away last night at Ford Field. QB Nate Davis's 5 turnovers (2 returned for touchdowns) were just too much to overcome. And now the season feels meaningless because you couldn't even beat Buffalo.

You fans are mad. Pissed off. I can sense it. You didn't quite have enough people up in Detroit last night to stage a massive riot, but you want to start one anyway to let out your frustration. So you say to yourselves, "fuck it, let's just get back to Muncie (IN) and light that dump on fire!"

But you may want to reconsider. After all, you don't want to run into the Muncie PD's sexiest volunteer crime-fighting lothario. That's right, Erik Estrada, is now running the streets of your town.

Erik Estrada has returned to Muncie to take part in overnight police patrols in the city where he starred in the short-lived reality series "Armed & Famous." The former star of the 1970s motorcycle cop drama "CHiPs" is a reserve officer on the Muncie Police Department.
The 60-year-old actor plans to work the midnight shift for three nights this week, patrolling city streets from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

You Cardinals fans may still be upset about your titanic collapse and missed opportunity, but at least you can laugh at your city's defenders. Fucking Ponch...hilarious.
