Proving that we in the States still don't get it, David Beckham was in Milan for the launch of a new shoe for adidas and lo and behold a crowd gathered. As for him staying in Milan rather than returning to FULLFILL HIS CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS Beckham is still trying to weasel out.
Says AC Milan's Vice President Adriano Galliani, "David is ready to give up to a lot of money. It depends on him and his lawyers to negotiate everything. We will see. He will return to Los Angeles on March 9th, or he will remain until May 31st, or rather he will remain with us until June 2010."
Well, it doesn't get much more definitive than that!
