Tony Parker's wife did the Latin Grammys

I get that Eva Longoria is a Mexican-American, but what exactly does she have to with Latin music, other than, you know, being a Corpus Christi, Texas-born Mexican American? I have noticed a trend over the last couple of years... one thing you can be sure of, if their is an event of any kind with the words Latin American in the title, Eva will be in attendance. Which is fine, because I like when she gets dressed up.
