Cliff Fletcher is proving why he's already in the Hall of Fame. He did all he could at the trade deadline. He got a 2nd, 3rd and two 5th round picks for Kilger, Gill and Belak. He traded up in the draft the get Luke Schenn, the Human Eraser who will be in their top six defenseman in the next two years. He's achieved so much cap space in dumping Tucker, Raycroft, Wellwood, Kilger, Gill, Belak, probably Sundin and more, that he'll be able to sign some young talented free agents like Hossa, Campbell, Stuart, Ryder and/or Nagy.<BR/><BR/>Ron Wilson was also the best coach available.Mike Jackhttp://www.epiccarnival.com/search/label/Mike%20Jacknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1549089718489651445.post-35999998883350191632008-06-25T10:09:00.000-05:002008-06-25T10:09:00.000-05:00I'm a Leafs fan and as much as I like these guys, it's time for Toronto to bite the bullet and move on.<BR/><BR/>The Leafs front office has been a wreck and the personnel moves have been questionable. They're getting old and clearly this team needs an overhaul.<BR/><BR/>I'd rather see them lose while attempting to do the right thing.
